A handmade period modern house of redwood, masonry, and stone with the objective to honor the energy and ethos of the Davenport Residence.
Herb Turner, a friend of ours who works with John Lloyd Wright, was over and he and Bill took some measurements of the lot. The Wrights have a beautiful home — rambling, beautifully designed, with indirect lighting, a lovely swimming pool. Bill is getting awfully excited and ready to start the whole thing soon. Of course we won't have anything that grand, but we do hope to incorporate a few of the things we really both want.
